29 religious families are covered with book-length materials. These cover history, the history in Australia, beliefs and practices, organisation, statistics and biographies.
A shorter account is given of other groups.
In most cases, each religious group tells its own story - in simple and descriptive language.
Each group is extensively illustrated, and all materials on large religious groups include video clips.
There is no need to install it. It runs in the web-browser. It can be installed on a network. Site licences are available.
This 2nd edition has been totally revised with the latest survey and Census statistics and with the latest information about each group. 25 academics and church leaders have assisted in the revisions, preparing material for the CD-Rom.
The CD-Rom will be released on 17th December 2004.
