Changing Society, Changing Religion is a CD containing 8 presentations with visual components and sound. These presentations look at - the history of religion in Australia and the impact of immigration, - religious pluralism, globalism and evidence for secularisation, - changing forms of community life and social capital, - changing culture and views of the world, - and the transition from traditional to post-traditional forms of society. The presentations suggest ways in which churches and religious organisations might respond to these changes and prepare people for the spiritual pathways of the 21st century. The CD-Rom will run on any computer with a web-browser and a sound card. The presentations were prepared by Philip Hughes, senior research officer of the Christian Research Association. The CD-Rom is available from the CRA for $18 including postage.
